Sailortown Barra

Venues across Sailortown, North Belfast
10 – 12 August, 2018

Join us for the first Sailortown Barra, a weekend of free events in Belfast’s Sailortown neighbourhood on Friday 10th, Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th August 2018, organised by Sailortown Regeneration and Household in partnership with Moving On Music, Clanmil Housing Association, The American Bar, New Lodge Arts Festival, and local residents, community groups and businesses.

Explore this unique neighbourhood, learn about its history, and help us reignite a long tradition of community-led events taking place in the streets of Sailortown, bringing together current residents, former residents, workers, visitors, creative practitioners and local community organisations and businesses to celebrate the area’s past, present and future.

This event would not be possible without the kind support of Belfast City Council Community Festival Fund, Belfast City Council City of Music, Moving On Music, and Clanmil Housing Association. Special thanks to AC Hotel Belfast, Sinclair Seamen’s church, Mission to Seafarers, The American Bar, McKenna’s Bar and Clare and Sean at Sean Greer Design.
